Charity Partner of the Year 2018 is Community Rescue Service, working with the Portglenone unit. The Community Rescue Service (CRS) is a charitable search and rescue organisation operated by volunteers from communities across Northern Ireland. They are the only accredited Lowland Rescue search and rescue organisation in N Ireland and hold full membership of the Association of Lowland Search and Rescue (ALSAR). This year we celebrate our 5th year in business. April 20th 2013 we officially opened under the current management of Debbie and Cliffy Adams. In those 5 years we have gone from strength to strength adding more and more services and options for our customers. We started out just hiring out the football pitch for a couple of sessions each night and have grown to being booked out Monday to Friday from between 5pm and 11pm. Our birthday packages became very popular and we had to create a purpose built Warzone for our Nerf parties. We also added Laser Tag shortly after. We now have over 14 different party options, but it’s not just birthday parties, we have packages for youth groups, hen/stag nights, corporate team building days and more.
